MGM Workday Okta Integration

MGM Resorts was looking for an IAM partner that could quickly implement identity service, reduce IT costs, and improve employee productivity. Okta was the winner and was chosen by MGM Resorts.

After that Okta initially implemented its Identity and Access Management services with MGM Resorts HR system with 62,000 employees onboarded in 2016.

Later the Workday application was also onboarded with the Okta IAM platform in 2017 in a phase-wise rollout process to expand the cloud strategy.

Later other applications such as MLifeInsider.com Login, Cornerstone OnDemand, CA Clarity OnDemand, MGM Okta Virtual Roster, NeoCase, MGM Intranet, and MGM Rewards Program M Life were also integrated with the Okta cloud platform.

MGM Workday login

All employees can log in to their Workday account if they have access to their login credentials.

Employees can log in to their Workday account after visiting the official website. Alternatively, After the implementation of Okta Identity and Access Management, employees can access their Workday account through Okta.

There are three different ways employees can log in to their Workday account.

2-Login through the Okta dashboard:

Another way to access the Workday account is through your Okta dashboard page. For that, please follow the below steps.

1. Visit the official MGM Resorts Okta webpage at https://mgmresorts.okta.com/.
2. Enter your Okta login credentials and log in to your account.
3. You will be directed to your Okta dashboard page.
4. On the dashboard, click the Workday application link.
5. Workday will be launched on your device and you will be automatically logged in to your account.

3-Login on the Workday website:

Current MGM employees can visit the Workday career website and access their accounts. Please follow the below steps.

• Visit the MGM Resorts website https://www.mgmresorts.com/.
• Click the career link at the footer side.
• MGM career website will open.
• Click the link for current MGM Resorts Employees after the first image OR visit the direct page https://careers.mgmresorts.com/global/en/internal-applicant.
• Click the Applicant Login link in the top menu.
• A Workday login page will appear on the screen (as shown below).

• Enter your Registered email address and password and click the Sign In button.
• You will be redirected to your Workday account dashboard page.
• You can now search for jobs and apply for them.

Please click the https://mgmresorts.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/MGMCareers/login link to visit the applicant login page directly and access your account by entering your login Workday credentials.

How to reset the applicant account password?

In case an MGM employee forgets the Workday password then a password reset facility is available to create a new password. Please follow the below steps.

• Visit the MGM Workday login page.
• Click the Forgot Password link.
• Enter your registered email address on the password reset page.
• Click the Reset Password button.
• You will get an email including a link to reset your password.
• Click that link and create a new password for your Workday account.

How to create a new MGM Workday account?

Employees must create a Workday account if they want to access their account directly by visiting the Workday website. Account registration is very simple and can be completed with the help of the below steps.

1. Visit the Workday MGM login page.
2. Click the Create Account link on the login page.
3. A new Workday account sign-up form will appear on the screen (as shown below).

4. Enter your email address and a new password for a new account.
5. Please read the password requirements before creating a password.
6. Click the Create Account button to complete the registration process.
7. You may need to verify your account through a link sent to your email address.
8. Your registration process will be completed after the verification.
